Dear Natasha: Opening your eyes to the world.

Dear Natasha:
Yesterday, as we were standing in Publix, putting our groceries on the conveyor belt, you stopped Nanny cold. One minute you were doing your frozen dance and singing "Let it Go"  for the millionth time, the next minute you were quiet. that always worries me.

But you were looking of to the side and said: "Nanny, is Ellen a man?."

I followed your eyes and saw the gossip magazine you were looking at that proudly and boldly announced something about Ellen and Portia, I am not sure what-but it didn't matter I was too busy formulating my answer in my head to notice.

I put the last few groceries on the belt and you said:
"Oh I know some people just like to be Gay," And went back to singing your favorite song.

Indeed.

hiding from the truth
The truth is Natasha, I don't know if they like to be or not.  I know we like to hide our faces from the  truth, but truly  I don't understand.  why the 2014 Olympics are marred by what people do in the privacy of their homes. Isn't it supposed to be about peace and world acceptance?
I don't understand gay parades and gay rights or any of it. Live your life, I will live mine and we will both see each other on the judgement seat I will answer for my sins, and you for yours.

I do understand the world is the world and we can't hide from it. I do understand we are not to judge anyone. the Bible says it is wrong, but people have to answer for their own sins whether it be murder, abuse, hatred, theft..they have to answer To God on Judgement day, just like we do. So we love them, although the Bible tells us not to like what they do. We do what the Bible tells us to. And that is love  and pray AND keep a watchful eye.

 Period.

the answer is, No Ellen is not a man. she is a television personality you like to watch with your mom. Her lifestyle is not something we understand but nor do we have the right to speak about it negativity.
We let God handle it, He knows best always.

I was angry for a moment that whatever it was was on the front page of a national magazine, but of course, we post marriage and baby news there all the times.

The life of the stars.

Remember when you asked Nanny  why the policeman shot the little girls  daddy over the Popcorn?
I didn't know the answer to that either.  Who does that?
That man will answer on earth and in heaven. sometimes it is that way.

A friend lent you her watch. You brought it home and was  oh so careful with it, and took it back to her the next day. proud that you had taken care of a friends possession, and returned it exactly as you were given it.

With the trust and innocence of a child, you let the same friend borrow your precious Hello Kitty pen given to you by Bree, and she was not as careful with it. This pen was a treasure to you.  You still trust her to bring it back to you, but I know it's lost. But you wondered why she didn't treat your things, the same way you did hers.  Your eyes are open a little bit more to the world. your friend failed you, and so many will.

I don't know why it is, it just is

Elsa learned that her love for her sister was stronger then any special powers she might have. God tells us To love everyone, no matter what problems they may have. We are to pray for them. But not hide from the truth.

I don't know why what happens happens, why people do what they do or live how they live.
I do know, your mommy and Nanny love you so much, and want to keep  you to always  safe and happy,
But we can't.
So, when someone does something, or believes something you don't understand. don't let it change you, remember what God says is what we believe. God is the only light in the universe, turn to Him when you are confused and His book.

And always stand up for what you believe. Don't let anyone tell you you are wrong.
I do know Nanny loves you more then life itself and will always be here for you to fight the bad guys.

And, indeed Love conquers all.

t’s funny how some distance
Makes everything seems small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can’t get to me at all

Let  it go, let  it go
And I’ll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here  I stand  in the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway!

I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
'Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar
Louder, louder than a lion
'Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar
Love you bunches:
Nanny

It is sad when a child discovers how cruel the world can be and little by little that innocence and trust in all that is good and right is chipped away. It happens to all of us I suppose.
