Happy Monday..Random Thoughts..

I worked out yesterday, with Denise. I would suggest never working out with your child. You would think had learned that when I tried running with her and she left me in the dust.

I thought, surely I can keep up with her on the treadmill, but nope. She left me standing still. Her treadmill was rocking and rolling. Mine, was just rocking.

Working out, Denise and I are training for a 5K in October. I am determined to make it, but what makes me really proud is watching Denise's determination, If I don't make it I plan to be there cheering her on. She is really working hard. The Pictures of of Tasha and Tasha's mom, Denise had company over the weekend and they went to the park. You can tell, how much Denise has been working out. She looks really good.

Tasha's' cat who has been aptly names, uh I think Tasha's cat, is watching TV. This is after jumping from the chair to the computer solely for the fun of chasing the mouse on my computer, screen. It is hard to type with a cat, even a tiny kitten, sitting. in between the keyboard and the monitor, we found I won, for now. I had to move the chair across the room. it really is Tasha's cat. He has a mind of his own.

I have to get a cell phone, up until now I have resisted, but people need to get in touch with me, so getting a phone i am. I think my friend over at nice shoes, has convinced me a IPhone is best, so I am looking into those.I amtrying o decided betwen a palm and a Iphone, I'd love help.

I'd like to say hello to my lurkers. I kow you are there, you show up on my stat counter, evry once in a while I want you to know you are appreciated. I am a lurker to, so I understand you. So Howdy. And if someday you want to leave a comment thats cool to.

I am getting ready to go to bed, and it strikes me this blog is boring tonight, sorry, about the only thing happening is right about now a huge transport jet well helicopter, is fly ing over my house. I can tell by the sound it is going in for a landing, and I am happy, it is either men or equipment returning from the Gulf. When I think of each of these planes, I think of the men and women on board, how excited they must be to look out the window and see home, or if Charleston is not their home, America. At least they know, they will be safe for a minute.

But. again safety is a relative thing. 90 tourists came to America to enjoy New York, and met their fate in the Hudson. Do we ever know, when we are safe? I am going to give Tasha a hug..You find your kids, and hug them tight.

I have started a new ning group, I hope everyone will visit and joing, it is different from any of the other groups, At least I hope. The button is at the top of the page, it is called The bridge. Everyone is welcome.

Not Me! Monday

Okay this has not been such a crazy week...

I did not or we did not pick up a kitten for Natasha. the poor kitten, Tasha cannot put him down for a second. Denise took her to Micky D's to give the kitten a break.

I did not call Tasha honey, to which she replied, I am not honey! You can't take my top off andpour me on a peanut butter sandwich. I'm Tasha!

I did not make meatloaf and forget to put eggs in it...and seasoning....and salt....just catchup..

I did not spend 5 hours writing and researching a report paper for a client on Online Dating, forget to save it only to have Tasha Precede to "write her blog" after I left the computer. back to square one.

I did not call my sister at 11 o'clock at night to sing old 70's tunes we used to dance to; to her..she has been ill and is in the middle of a major life crisis...

I did not watch a clean house marathon on Style...

I did not watch a Law and Order Marathon while working on the computer...

I did not find a bug in my living and kill it with renuize fabric refresher...I am so sadistic..

I did not throw away a whole watermelon because..we forgot it was int he back of the refrigerator, yes watermelon..I cleaned out the fridge..

I did not write my post small things Sat then rush out and buy Cheesecake Ice Cream...

I did not put Tasha to bed so I could watch Bobby Flays' throw down.....and she couldn't watch Dora..

I did not take Eric to work this morning, and turn down two wrong streets coming home..I didn't and if anyone ask me I will deny it...

Not me Monday

Now to my little Not me stuff...

I did not lock the keys in the truck at FAmily Dollar. I had to pop the rear door, climb over into the back seat, reach over the front seat and pop the locks, because of child proof locks in the back. The people in the white SUV next to me had a blast.

I did not spray over cleaner all over the oven then forget to clean it. I know our old landlord loved that!

I did not spend two hours getting a nice blaze going on a pile of leaves I was buring only to have a Charleston monsoon put it out in 10 seconds.

I did not give Tasha a peanut butter sandwich for dinner, because I had sprayed the oven and couldn't cook.

I did not, even though Denise and I promised ourselves we wouldn't do this, spend the last few hours of our move stuffing last minute items into garbage bags, and small boxes; we now have s significant amout of misc bags and boxes to go through.

I did not dance to Stayin' alive with Tasha, then turn to the toddler music channel and sing silly songs with her. (see a pattern emerging?)

I did not on my first night in the new house do battle with Charleston's famous flying roaches as they dashed out of the chiminey and flew through the living room.

I did not spray oven cleaner on them, and bleach cleaner before smashing them with my shoe.

I did not let Tasha stay up late and watch Noggin as a treat because we have gone three months without television.

I did not rush in here( new houe) and put up the computer first thing so I could go on Facebook..talk about being addicted....

Not Me Monday

Once again it is Monday, the first day of the proverbial work week, and the day we all sit back and reflect on how silly we were last week. Hmm, Well me,personally.I am never silly or ever do  any incomprehensible things...but I will do my best to think of something....

I did not direct traffic at the busiest intersection in West Ashley, while Denise was broken down and trying to get the car started. Tasha was in the back seat, the car over heated and drivers do not pay attention. 

I did not open a bag of Sour Cream and Onion potatoes chips in Wal mart for Tasha to snack on while we were shopping. 

I did not break the seat off the commode while I was cleaning it this week. Don't ask how, I don't know how. All I know is I was on my knees and Tasha was sitting on the commode as I was scrubbing, singing the Barney song which is annoying enough then as I was scrubbing in the little area no human hand can get in anyway between the wall and the commode , suddenly Tasha and the seat were on the floor next to me. The top had come loose from the joints.

I did not get up at three in the morning having an ice cream attack and eat two bowls of ice cream. Cookies and cream. 

I did not become addicted to SIMS4 the computer game . I like to build the city and blow it up. I have always been destructive. 

I did not drop Denise's cell phone and break it into three different pieces. Luckily it went back together and she is none the wiser, one day Tasha will tell on me and I will be in BIG trouble.

PS. Tasha just told on me about the phone. I did not run in the bedroom and hide from her mother.

I did not get up stand, applause and do a victory dance when I found out Victor and his sister won The Amazing Race. Denise Swank was good enough to tell me because my TV is still broken. Yea ippeeeeee Whoo Whoooo All right!

I did not clean my bathtub drain when it clogged up and found three different kinds of hair and hair color resulting in representation from everyone in my house hold. YUKKY

I did not use suave shampoo as bubble bath for Tasha when we didn't have any bubble bath.

I did not open new soap so Tasha nad I could trace the letters in the bar of soap.

I did not wash my red shirt with white clothes and turn everything pink.

I did not sit at the computer while Denise and Eric boiled live crabs and had them for lunch. I don't like crabs and the little things kept giving me the eye. I tried to appease them, but I honestly think they will be haunting me in my sleep.

I did not miss the edge of front porch trying to run and jump off and pretend I was in the Olympics. Luckily for me only Tasha was home,

I did not put a bag of can goods out by the mailbox, for the mail person in the hot sun, giving poor people food poisoning as my daughter pointed out to me.

I did not throw out a half of a loaf of bread, and some hamburger bun because I was not paying attention to what I was doing. Again Denise (my Denise) brought it to my attention.

I did not watch Adam 12 on Hulu this week. No I didn't because it is a 60's TV show and that dates me.

I did not color my hair and get the wrong color and miss the gray

I think this is enough embarrassment. this has been a very I did not week....

I did not get a new computer and I am going right now to pick it up.

Stellen is back home and safe so I am going to start back doing Not Me Mondays. We prayed hard for Stellen and we are very happy the Lord kept him and his mother safe. She also made tons of friends on this trip. The entire town of Boston, I understand.

Not me Monday...What a week:

I did not jump on the couch and sing I'll always love you and pretend to be Taylor Dane. I really didn't and it was fun.

I did not go to Burlington Coat factory buy $185.00 worht of new clothes and forget to get shoes???!!!!!!! to match

I did not go out into the back yard and blow bubbles at the squirrels. With Tasha,

I did not kill all of Tashas plants by forgetting to bring them in out of one of Charleton's Monsoon's. They fought the good fight, but they died.

I did not wake Denise up at 6:30 this morning because I wanted somone to talk to. Really. I didn't, it was worth it.


I did not spend 30 minutes with Tasha singing This little light of mine and Zaccheus and other such notable songs at the top of our lungs in her bedroom before putting her to bed.

I did not tell Tasha the wolf was the hero in the three little pigs.

I did not start selling AVON. Want my website?

I did not feel silly all week. I just acted it.

I did not enter a new blogs giveaway learning together hand in hand's giveaway. It was the second one I entered in my life, I was on a roll this weekend. I have to confess this is a new one I found it through SITS, making my Saturday visit and there she had a great recipe, I am supposed to leave another recipe for her to swap which will be under this note which is why this is a long blog. When I go visiting on SITS day, I like to poke around and read the blogs which makes the 75 percent of the time I spend on the computer more like 90, which is ok:I don't have little kids just a grand kid, but this one is fun, I like th picture of the family they look user friendly and the blog is well laid out. Be sure to stop by Say hi, tell her angel sent you. Just kidding she'll say who is Angel???? but stop by anyway.

I did not snarl at my friend Barb Jacabucci when she snidely sent me an Email telling me she was watching the A's and the Mariners right that minute on TV in Seattle. Knowing I love my A's that wasn't fair! Sniff Sniff. Barb is due to get it from me. This week. Yep. Someday the A's will be playing the Braves and, no two different leagues, no matter watch out Barb, by the way ow badly did the A's beat the Mariners

I did not join in the fight for hunger by joining in with Kate over at Cooking during stolen moment. Now if you haven't seen her blog well, it is amazing. You get hungry looking at it for one thing, and for another she herself is just plain cute. She has three blogs, I follow all of them which just goes to show you why Tasha is always eating cold cereal and bologna.

My First "Not Me Monday"

But I have to confess I got the idea from another blog SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! which is also a great blog. Face it, how many times a day do you say that?

Mackmams blog is very close to home, because her baby Stellan is suffering from cardio-vascular problems, just as my Sharon and Denise did. Keep her family in your prayers. His picture is on my prayer list on the side bar, if you don't fall in love with him well, I just don't know what to do with you.

So on to Not Me Monday:

I did not go out the back door with a load of laundry, miss the last step and land on my you know what. The laundry flew everywhere, including on top of Erics little moped. Nothing hurt but my pride.

I did not give Natasha strawberries for breakfast with a cookie. Well, she asked.

Not really I think It was called Lazy.

I did not start putting Tasha in underwear instead of pull ups so she has to go potty. Not that it's working. I am thinking of purchasing a special accident mop for her to uses every time she has one. She is trying anyway, she does remember to tell me she is wet. She just hasn't gotten quite the knack to tell me before not after.

I did not have ice cream cones for dinner. Well everyone else was having fish. I love seafood, but I don't care to much for fish. And yes Denise made a nice fruit salad. OK, fine.I just wanted an ice cream cone. So there.

I did not hide Tasha's Dora DVD. Well I have seen it heard it and been privy to watching The Sporting Video with Dora, Diego, Wonder Pets and Blues Clues, I hid wrote down the clues in my handy dandy notebook and she found it in one clue. I guess she is really smart. :)

I did not quit my job. unloading trucks, moving TVs and dealing with 30 guys and gals under 25 who are all complaining about their backs got to me finally. I'm throwing TVs off the truck and a 19 year old man is telling me he can't lift it because of his back. So be it. I am no longer the logistic manager at Wal Mart 1748. I am going back to working in a nice little call center. I did that for 5 years this time I am not going to be a call center manager or a QA person. This time I just want a phone, a desk and quiet. I'll talk to you all day. Just don't mention your back to me or your girlfriend, or I want you to be flat out and that is not going to happen. Whatever thatmeans. It is what it is, as my generation used to say. Just do it. 

I did not have a strange morning this morning.

Eric and I are working on starting the new online business I have been talking about. We are going o sell things for other people on EBAY,we'll list, take pic's, ship and do all the work the customer will just cash the check. We are also developing my health nuts website, but it is taking way more research then I thought. We want to be correct in what products we sell and make sure they are quality products. 

It is cloudy and rainy here in the Holy City. Hope your weather is better.
